The little girl grew up in an orphanage, but at the age of 12, she must leave the asylum of the orphanage, go to school under the control of the government, experience life alone. Because she was born in an orphanage, because she did not have the help of her parents, because she was a child from the bottom, she was not loved since childhood. She was eager to reach the top of the pyramid of society, eager to integrate into the school and get recognized by others. After entering the school, she tried hard to please others and was eager to improve her score on the board.  The orphanage is a government agency, and there is no internal scoring mechanism. 
The government will assign a scoreboard to everyone who reaches the age of cognitive ability.
